Main characteristics

PTC heating elements (Positive Temperature Co-efficient) have the characteristics of power self-regulation. In practice, these elements decrease its power during temperature increasing until the characteristic of the type of heating element point. In characteristic temperature, PTC element goes to work in a steady state. Power self-regulation of these elements precisely depends on temperature on its surface, which depends on the heat exchange between element and environment.
